Easter Morning

Drew was super excited to find a basket from the Easter Bunny! He made a big deal out of every single thing in his basket and brought each thing to Mommy one by one. It was a great memory!

Coloring Eggs

Drew LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the colored eggs! Actually, he loves anything to do with colors. Lellow!!! Orgsh!! Geen! He was so excited about all of it, yet didn't realize the eggs were sorta fragile. He got VERY upset when he wasn't allowed to throw the eggs (see picture below of temper trantrum)

Drew the Artist :)

Drew takes his coloring very seriously. As he switches crayons, he selects a new color and announces his color choice with excitment each time! "lellow!" "geen!" "blacKKKKKKK!" He loves to color, paint or create in any way... he's very intense!!!

Cool Stuff!

I bought Drew a step stool today for use in the bathroom but I had no idea how excited he would be about it!! He carried it around and went up & down over and over. I think he felt like a Big Boy!

He also got a cool crazy staw tonight which he thought was awesome as well!

St. Patrick's Day

Drew loves his hats but did an especially good job
of putting this one on himself in the car as we were driving to Mama's house on St. Patrick's Day morning. He's such a festive little guy!

A side note, he is getting his hair cut this weekend so RELAX people!!!

Graffiti

We thought we would really annoy our neighborn who is obsessive about the driveway and put Drew's beautiful artwork all over it! Drew had a great time :)

Is Winter over YET???

It may be March, but that doesn't mean that Drew is no longer sick. Daycare called on Friday saying he had blisters on his tongue and it "could be" Hand, Foot & Mouth. It was too late to get into the Dr. so he had to wait till Saturday morning. Doctor said he didn't have it, but he did have a slight ear infection so he was given an antibiotic. For whatever reason, the Dr. gave him a very strong prescription. He started vomitting & had severe diarhea early Sunday morning which lasted thru the afternoon. Monday morning he woke up with hives. Turns out it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. Just another day in the life of Drew :(

Drew & Baxter

Drew loves to wrestle with anyone that will play, Baxter usually doesn't have much of a choice, he just gets pounced on.
Drew thinks it's hilarious that Baxter will "shake" but he doesn't seem to realize that only dogs shake like that. He holds his foot up saying "shake" wanting to shake like Baxter. Guess that's what happens when your only sibling is a dog ;)

Messy Messy!!

He's gotten to that age where he wants to do a lot of things by himself, especially when it comes to eating.

His pacifier has been gone for a few months now so his vocabulary has picked up quite a bit. He's always saying something, the trick is just trying to figure it out. Some things are pretty clear like: Messy, Messy!! Mama, Da-Da, Papa, Mam-aw. He can tell you his name, knows his colors, shapes and can usually tell you what he wants or doesn't want. He's quite a character and a tad bit moody ;)

Drew's New Chair

Drew & Mommy went shopping for a new chair and wouldn't you know it, he picked the most expensive one. He's cool like that!!

Even though he's been sick, he still is sooo entertaining and full of smiles, hugs and kisses :)

The Sick Months

Drew has had a rough few months with sinus infections, ear infections, pink eye, stomach bug and just regular colds. It's truly one thing after another. The doctors say he'll probably need his tonsils taken out soon and we'll be doing allergy testing soon. Hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
