Drew's GREAT BIG Train

Tonight Drew got his gifts from Mommy's friend and WOW, did this thing turn out bigger than we thought!! Drew got a Thomas The Train Mega House and it sure is Mega!! At first he was a bit scared of it until all of us (including Baxter) got inside, then he warmed up to it! He kept looking at it saying "WOW"!!!

Who Needs Toys??

Really?? Who needs toys when you can just play in laundry baskets?? This is Drew's latest thing, playing in the baskets. Doesn't matter if they are full of clean or dirty laundry, he'll empty it and climb right in!!

Drew & Jake

Drew adores his cousin Jake (and so does Mommy)! They had the best time together and kept all of us laughing! Jake was blowing bubbles with his chewing gum and Drew thought it was the funniest thing and laughed & laughed no matter how many times Jake did it. From there it ended up with Drew climbing all over Jake, a mini wrestling match with hugs & kisses every few minutes. There couldn't be a better kid for Drew to look up to; Jake is an awesome kid with a huge heart.... Mommy & Drew love him very, very much!

Christmas Night at Grandma's House

Christmas night we went to Grandpa & Grandma Smith's house to celebrate Christmas with them and Aunt Melanie, Cousin Jake, and Uncle David. It was a good time and Drew got lots of cool toys but still a bit much for the little guy. He had fun playing with Aunt Melanie and Cousin Jake and just being a total ham, but the opening of the presents isn't the best time for Drew.

Christmas Morning

Drew still isn't at the age where he is excited about Christmas and all the gifts. He would rather open one gift and sit & play with it until he's ready to move to the next. He got a bunch of stuff from Santa, but wasn't overly thrilled about any of it at the time. I'm sure next year will be much better, it's still a bit overwhelming for the little guy at this age.

Drew's Cousin Kennedy

Mommy got to meet Drew's newest cousin, Baby Kennedy a couple days before Christmas. She is sooo sweet & sooo tiny, with big beautiful blue eyes like Drew.

Festival of Lights

Drew LOVED the lights!! Lots of yelling, bouncing, pointing and Ohhhhhhhh's!!! Didn't get to see many animals, or Santa (line was waaaaay too long!) but Drew was content with people watching and having Mommy push him up all those damn hills!!! What a workout! Drew enjoyed the hills, UP! UP! UP!! guess, Mommy wasn't going fast enough up the mountain?? It was a great night for all of us :)

Oh, one more thing, Drew loved talking to Rudolph, he squeezed his nose, gave him "five" and "rock" but DID NOT like the Snow thing at all (bottom picture).

Which One is Real??

Tough call, isn't it?? Not easy to tell which one is happier either! Drew likes the second one better!

Bath time fun

Drew LOVES bath time, except when it's time to get out :(

Today will be day FIVE without his pacifier!!This is a HUGE accomplishment for Drew, he has grown very, very attached/dependent on it and it's been a difficult process of trying to take it away. He is still waking a couple of times at night crying for it, but Mommy eventually gets him back to sleep without it. Needless to say, Mommy is kinda tired, but proud at the same time :)
