Will it ever end?

Well, looks like the new antibiotics aren't working for Drew either. He's been taking it for a few days now and seems to be getting worse. Poor kid is digging at his ears, coughing, puking and has diarrhea. We're going back to the doctor this morning to hopefully get this thing taken care of for good. Drew is pretty good during the day, but beginning in early evening, he gets very miserable and it just gets worse as the night progresses. Let's hope the 3rd medication does the trick!

Mommy's Boy is Tough!

It all started around 1:00 AM, Drew woke screaming, different than his early morning bottle cry, but I wasn't too concerned at that point, he went back to sleep after about 20 minutes. About an hour later it started again but lasted much longer and seemed painful. It was off and on from there, poor guy had something wrong, that was obvious. He had just taken the last dose of his antibiotic from the ear infection/pink eye weekend the night before.

We went to the doctor and found out the antibiotic didn't work, he still had the ear infection in the left ear, and had developed fluid behind his eardrum in the right ear. Wow, really wasn't expecting to hear that!

After giving him his medicine, he started feeling better and played a little peek-a-boo in his tunnel, here are the pictures, not bad for a sick boy w/ two ear infections!

Drew went to the park for his first outside swinging experience! He loved it! (By the way, he did have sandals on, but they kept falling off, just don't want people thinking Mommy is sending him out & about bare foot!)

St. Patrick's Day

Drew woke up very early morning on Saturday with his right eye puffy & sealed shut. Mommy took him to the doctor to find out he has pink eye in both eyes and an ear infection. Poor little guy! His eyes looked pretty bad for most of the day on Saturday, but he was in pretty good spirits for being as sick as he was! His eyes look much, much better today, but he still has a cold, runny nose and a cough. He absolutely hates to have his nose wiped or sucked out (can't blame him there) and really dislikes the eye drops. Today he is home with Grandma, but will most likely go back to school tomorrow.
