Drew and his Doggie

Drew loves his doggie already. He gets very excited to see him, he loves to touch him and pull his fur and whiskers. Baxter enjoys licking Drew, but I don't think he likes the pulling stuff much.

Six Months Old!

So here's Drew in his "6 Months" T-shirt, it's a little small since they assume you will be size 6 mnths at 6 months, not the case with this little guy! Depending on the brand and/or style, Drew is wearing 9-18 months.

Today was his 6 month doctor's appointment. He got shots, of course, and took them much better than our previous visit. Today his weight was 22.5 lbs and length of nearly 28 inches. The doctor said his growth is fine based on his birth weight and that everything looks good!

Bathtub #3

The second bathtub was cute & all, but wasn't quite sturdy enough for a man Drew's size. Grandma had this one and it works pretty good. Still not as easy as using the kitchen sink, but oh well. Drew enjoyed this new tub, didn't like it when it was time to rinse the shampoo out of his hair and water went all over his face, but he'll get used to it :)

Santa's Little Helper

Drew is getting ready for his first Christmas. He's working on a Christmas list and everything.

Drew's New Crib Toy

We're doing our best to get Drew back in the crib where he should be, so this is one of the latest purchases to help us succeed. One of the settings plays continuous music for 10 minutes. Baby likes to hear music to get to sleep. At this point, we'll do what it takes! Yeah, yeah, I know, should have never started it to begin with!

Such A Big Boy!

This week Drew rolled over for the first time! He's soo proud of himself each time! He's getting better and better at sitting up by himself, he should have that mastered within a couple of weeks.

They finally came out with a highchair that I like, so I ran off to Babies R Us to get it. Since Scott is out of town, I had to put it together myself. It probably would have taken a normal person 30 minutes to put it together, it took me about two hours. Well worth it though.

Update

Drew was still snoozin after coming in from the car, so Mommy took advantage of that and tried to get some things done before he woke up. Big Brother Baxter took it upon himself to babysit.

We've entered that period where everything goes in the mouth. He's even tried to eat the dog.

Jake's Superbowl

Here's Drew with Aunt Melanie and Grandma Jill at Jake's Superbowl game. It sure was cold, but that's okay because Jake's team won for the second year in a row! Congratulations Jake!

Drew & His Sippy Cup

We tried a sippy cup with Drew and he took right to it! Perhaps this will avoid a meltdown later when we take the bottle away.
