Misty, Drew & Baxter

Here's Drew with Mommy's cousin Misty. Brittany & Brooke didn't come for this visit, but we hope to see them soon!

Four Months Old

Drew had his four month doctor visit on on Sept. 22nd. He was tipping the baby scale at 19.5 lbs and was 26 1/2 inches long. He got four more shots which made for a whiny baby most of the weekend. He's definitely a lot more active now, he's recently discovered his feet and enjoys kicking things because he can. He's learned to like his peas and peaches, but instantly loved pears and baby fruit punch. Not a big fan of apple juice yet. As long as he's not waking up to eat, he wakes up very happy and smiles as soon as he catches your eye. He is much more interactive now. He has his own little language that he speaks to his toys, sometimes he screams at them in anger, other times he just screams for fun. He enjoys TV already, especially football. He is an absolute joy to have around and I couldn't begin to imagine my life without him.

Here is sleepy Drew ...

Drew Loves His Toys

Drew is finally getting to the age that he can play with his toys (or at least try!). He likes his car but I think he likes the excersaucer at Grandma's house a little bit better.

Drew has his own little movie theater.

Growing Way Too Fast!

At the last weigh-in, Drew was almost 19 lbs (he'll be 4 months next week). Yes I'm glad he's a healthy boy, but that does nothing for the 15 sleepers I bought him in size 6 months that he will outgrow by the time he'll actually need to wear them! So here's Drew playing dress up!

Not Quite Camera Ready

Mommy is saying "cheese" but looks like Drew is trying to say "get that camera out of my face!"

Drew Speaks His Mind

Drew insisted he wear this bib from Aunt Melanie and Cousin Jake.

Yummy Peas

Drew had peas for dinner, not sure if he liked them or not. Daddy hates peas so I think it was harder on him than Drew. We'll try again tomorrow.

Suri Who????

Mommy says I'm cuter, hands down.

Our Happy Baby

Despite being sick, Drew is still full of smiles and laughs. He certainly makes every day better than the day before. Drew is wearing his new shirt from Grandma, preparing for Daddy's birthday (Halloween).

Sick Baby

It came sooner than we expected or hoped, but Drew (and Mommy too) somehow caught a cold. Luckily, Drew didn't get it as bad as Mommy, but the timing couldn't be worse since this is my last week home before going back to work :(

Aside from his coughing, sneezing and lose of appetite, Drew has been perfect, not even a bit whiny with his cold. We checked in with the Doctor today to make sure it wasn't turnng into an ear infection and she said things were fine, thank goodness no ear infections! Drew is now 18 lbs and 26 1/4 inches. He is in the 97th percentile for length and 95th for weight. Great big growing boy! Doctor said he can start baby foods that start with a "P" to help him with his BM's, so looks like he'll be having some peas tomorrow!

Tummy Time

Drew is not a big fan of the Dr. ordered "tummy time". It's generally just a few minutes before he starts screaming. Baxter enjoys it though, he always takes the opportunity to stick his big ol nose right in Drew's face.

Lately Drew is trying to stick his tongue on anything and everything that comes close.
