My New Car

Here's my new car I got from Grandpa Earl, isn't it cool? I'm still a little small for it, I can hardly see above the steering wheel (Daddy says it reminds him of Grandma Sharon behind the wheel of her truck). I like my car so far, it bounces, vibrates and makes noises, what more could a baby ask for?

Milestone

Here's Drew in his crib for the first time in his 9 1/2 weeks of life. This transition comes at the expense of space in Daddy & Mommy's bedroom though. Since Drew's bedroom was upstairs and ours was downstairs, we decided to combine the rooms for now so he can at least get used to sleep in an actual crib instead of his bassinet or next to Mommy. So now there is a pretty yellow room upstairs that is completely empty! Oh well!

Drew has started fighting sleep like a mad-man, sometimes it lasts for over an hour. Mostly it is whining and grunting but his arms are waving nonstop even when he appears to be otherwise asleep, the arms are still moving? That's the reason for the swaddle in the picture below.

Pretty Blue Eyes

The doctor also said she thinks there is a good chance Drew might keep his pretty blue eyes, she said most show signs of changing colors by now, but not this guy, still blue as can be! Both Mommy and Daddy have brown eyes though, so I think there is a slim chance he'll hold onto those baby blues but I'll keep my fingers crossed!


Drew is sound asleep in this pictures but the evidence of his fight to stay awake remains with his hands still up in the air.

Two Months Old

Hello Everyone! Yesterday Drew had his two month doctor's visit. Wow, he is STILL growing fast! He's 14 lbs 10 oz and 23 1/4 inches long. The doctor says his growth is fine and she's not worried about his weight gain since he is growing in length as well. Drew also got 4 shots. Neither of us took that very well. Poor little guy, he even gave the nurse a big pretty smile before she starting sticking all those needles into him.

Here are a couple pictures of Drew in his newest chair. This one has one of his favorite features...vibration, but also rocks and will told up to 40 lbs unlike his other seats.
