Saturday we went to my Cousin Jake's 9th birthday party. Jake got some cool presents and lots of money! Mommy says she hopes I turn out sweet like Jake, plus he's a pretty good-lookin kid too, don't ya think? Here is a picture of me with Aunt Melanie too.

Within the past week Drew has become even more alert, especially when it comes to his hanging toys. He loves to stare and sometimes even reach for them!

Update

On Thursday Mommy took me to see her friends at work. We had a really nice visit, even went to lunch with the group. Everyone was there except Mommy's friend Sheila :( ....we'll have to catch her next time.

Like my new sandals? Mommy thinks they make me look too grown up. I'm a growing boy!

I'm 4 Weeks Old Now!

Hello Everyone! On Wednesday, June 14th, I was 4 weeks old. Mommy took me to the dr. that day too. Wow, am I a growing boy, I'm now 11 lbs 11 oz! The nurse gave me another shot which I did not like at all so I peed all over again. Today is finally Friday which means Daddy will be home with me and Mommy for two whole days!!!

It's Monday Again

Well, it's Monday again which means Daddy had to go back to work. Me, Mommy and Daddy had a really good weekend together, we went lots of places. Daddy went swimming at Grandma Jill's house, it's too early for me and Mommy to swim, so we visited with Grandma and Uncle David and then Mommy sat outside w/ Daddy for a while. We did more shopping and stopped at Jolly's Root Beer Stand again and on Sunday we went to a park for the first time.

On Friday I had another doctor's appointment. I saw Dr. Webb this time, the nurse decided to take my temperature under my arm so we didn't have a repeat of my last visit (good move on her part). Doctor said I'm perfect and that my Mommy and Daddy are doing a good job with me. I gained one whole pound so now I weigh 10.4 lbs and have grown 3/4 of an inch. I'm a growing boy! Next time I go back I have to get another shot :(

Okay, people keep making fun of Mommy and Daddy for putting socks on my hands, but this nail cutting stuff isn't as easy as it sounds! Mommy tried when we got home from the hospital, but there isn't a whole lot to cut so the dr. suggested using a nail file, well, that's not so easy either. Daddy tried cutting my nails this weekend too, but we didn't get very far. So until they figure this out I will continue to have socks on my hands so you people just HUSH! There is a learning curve for new parents, ya know!
